摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger and its production method that enables an easy production of, without losing its consistent quality, such a heat exchanger as an exhaust gas recirculating cooler, which a corrosive gas having a high temperature goes through. SOLUTION: A fin 1 is inserted through a nickel-base brazing filler into a flat tube 2, and an assembly of such fin 1 and tube 2 alone is integrally, fixedly brazed. Then an assembly of the flat tube 2 and a header plate 3, an assembly of the header plate and a casing 4, and an assembly of the header plate 3 or the casing 4 and a tank body 5 are fixedly welded by welding accompanied by melting of parent materials.

摘要： PURPOSE:To surely perform the following brazing and to increase the reliability in brazing by performing the flaring of the end part of a multihole pipe with the flaring jig of specified structure in case of brazing the end part of the multihole pipe and a pipe plate by inserting the former in which a partition is integrally provided into the latter. CONSTITUTION:The flaring jig 6 has the projection part 5 in the number equivalent to the holes of the multihole pipe 2 and the pitch among each projection part 5 is equal to the pitch of the hole of the pipe 2. The tip of the projection part 5 is slightly smaller than the hole of the pipe 2 and the cross section is larger as going to the upper part, a partition removing part 4 is integrally provided between each projection part 5 and the cross section is formed in acute angle. The end part of the pipe 2 is first inserted into the inserting hole which is slightly larger than the sectional outer periphery of the pipe 2 of the pipe plate 3 to support the both adequately and the jig 6 is press-fitted to the opening end of the partition 1 by a press machine, etc. The tip part of the projection 5 is then inserted into each hole of the pipe 2 and immediately the removing part 4 flares the partition 1 with cutting the center part of the partition 1 and the projection part 5 flares each hole as well. The outer periphery of the pipe 2 end part is thus spread nearly uniformly and press-fitted to the inserting hole of the plate 3. The space between the pipe 2 and plate 3 is then brazed.
