    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a tapered metal tube which is free from any fluctuation in wall thickness in the tapering, unnecessary for annealing during the tapering, and free from any buckling or bulging, and the tapered tube with its wall thickness same as that of a stock tube and uniform. SOLUTION: A straight tube as large in diameter as a large diameter part of a product tapered metal tube is used for a stock tube, a part of the stock tube is notched to form a notched tube 40 leaving behind an arc-shaped section of the same curvature as that of the stock tube so that the circumferential length of the outer circumferential surface is the same as the outer circumferential length of each section of the product tapered metal tube, this notched tube is pressed into a die hole 51 having the inner contour shape same as the outer contour shape of the tapered metal tube, notched edge parts are abutted on each other, and the abutted portions are welded to form the tapered metal tube.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the breakage to be generated during the hydraulic bulging of a product deformed metallic bend whose bulged part is bent in the longitudinal direction by forming a part of a straight metallic tube on the outer circumferential bending side of the metallic bend to be of bellows in the axial direction of the pipe. SOLUTION: A deformed stock tube 20 comprises a bellows part 20a and a straight part 20b, and the bellows part 20a is provided at the position corresponding to a bent part of a bend, and an A"-A" section passing a top part (b) of the bellows shape and a C"-C" section on the opposite side across the axis (a) correspond to the section on the outer circumferential side and the inner circumferential side of the bent part of the respective bends. Bellows is not provided on the whole circumference of the tube, but on the A"-A" section subject to the tension in the axial direction during the bending. The deformed stock tube 20 can be manufactured through the hydraulic bulging. The dissimilar stock tube 20 is bent to form a bent metallic tube so that its bellows part is the outer circumferential part of the bend, stored in a pair of upper and lower die grooves, and the hydraulic pressure is applied thereto from the inside, and at least the bent part of the metallic bend is bulged to the prescribed section.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the friction force between a material and a tool, to restrict the buckling and to easily execute a hydraulic bulging of a thin wall tube by executing a preliminary working to preliminarily bulge a range longer than a bulge scheduled length in the axial direction of a metal tube, and compressing the preliminarily bulged part in the axial direction of the metal tube. Further, a left side 1st axial pressing tool 85 is advanced, brought into close contact with both end faces of the blank tube and it is sealed, an upper holder 82 is lowered, pressed to a lower holder 81, a hydraulic liquid is injected inside the blank tube and the state before preliminary bulging is made. Here, because the blank tube nearby both ends are held with the 2nd axial pressing tools 83, 84, the lengths of the upper and lower holders 81, 82 is made shorter than the length of an upper and lower dies of a conventional method.

By this method, the dissimilar metallic pipe joint is manufactured efficiently.
