The extrusion is started from the space between the die 121 and the small-diameter portion 152, and then, the hollow body 10 is molded between the die 121 and the body portion 151.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an insert fitting having a draw-out resistant load equivalent to twill lined knurling and a twisting-resistant torque while eliminating the formation process of the knurling by an exclusive processing machine, and also to provide the insert fitting manufactured by the same.

The manufacturing method of an electrode includes a cutting process, a first extrusion process, and a second extrusion process. In the cutting process, a rod material is cut into billets of a predetermined length. In the first extrusion process, the billet is extruded to form a first semi-finished product having a large diameter part. In the second extrusion process, the first semi-finished product is extruded to form a second semi-finished product having a small diameter part.
