SOLUTION: Continuous rolling is executed by always fixing the in-let guide 13 and outlet guide 17 consisting of a guiding trough on the rolling line 10, guiding a billet with the inlet guide 13 till the head end part of the billet is bitten with a rolling mill 11, evading contact with the billet by retreating the guiding part 13a downward after the head end part is passed through and also without bringing into contact with the inlet and outlet guides 13, 17 during rolling. Or, after the head end part of the billet is passed through, the guiding part 13a, which approaches the rolling mill 11, of the inlet guide 13 is retreated and contact with the billet is evaded.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely control a direction with a simple structure by providing wheel driving hydraulic units having electric motors for driving hydraulic pumps for feeding working fluid to wheel rotating hydraulic motors to respective wheels. SOLUTION: Working oil is fed to hydraulic motors 25a, 25b by driving hydraulic pumps 29a, 29b by electric motors 31a, 31b, and wheels 5a, 5b are rotated. A hydraulic unit of an inner wheel and a hydraulic unit of an outer wheel are independently constituted, and the rotations of respective wheels can be individually controlled by controlling the rotations of the electric motors 31a, 31b provided on respective units. Accordingly, the hydraulic pumps 29a, 29b can be rotated at the same revolution or at the different revolutions and can be rotated in the opposite directions, and the wheels 5a, 5b to be interlocked with them can be similarly controlled. Therefore, respective wheels can be independently controlled with a simple structure, the revolutions can be freely changed, and the direction of a vehicle can be freely changed.

摘要： PURPOSE:To line up the tip of bar stocks and to improve the quality by transferring respective stocks in the longitudinal direction after transferring the stocks in the lateral direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction, detecting the stock tips at a prescribed position, and lifting the detected stocks to stop transfer of the stocks. CONSTITUTION:Hot, round billets are delivered from a rolling mill and are cut by a hot shear. Cut stocks 8 are guided to a cooling bed and are recessed parts of row charger 5, 6. The movable row changer 6 to laterally transfer the stocks 8 between row changer 5, 6 by cam action. The stocks 8 are cooled and are transferred into grooves of a rotating alignment roller 22 from the row changer 6. Then, the stocks 8 are transferred to a guide roller 26; at the time of a tip 9 contacting with the roller 26, a sensor 28 detects the contact and sends a contact signal to a controller 30 to give a command to a switch of a cylinder 32. A rod arm 33 and an arm 45 are projected to separate the stocks 8 from the roller 22 to stop their motion and the stocks 8 are cut in a succeeding stage. Hence, the tips are accurately lined up at a prescribed position because a touch sensor is installed in every groove.

Besides, it is also possible to install the trough 11' parallelly below the trough 11.
