    • PURPOSE:To prevent any illumination from developing in the boundaries between the vertical divisions of the screen by forming thin stripes on the above boundaries which correspond to several linear cathodes. CONSTITUTION:Thin stripes 40 are formed on the boundaries between the vertical divisions of the screen which are displayed corresponding to several linear cathodes 2. The thin stripes 40 are formed by linearly applying titanium oxide to areas on the screen upon which electron beams are irradiated. The luminance difference or illumination produced when the electron beams which have been vertically strained bump against the phosphor is prevented by eliminating the surplus light.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate placing of the work and to improve the accuracy and reliability of measurement by changing an analog operating system to a digital operating system thereby permitting easy execution of automation. CONSTITUTION:The work 3 on a pallet 1 is first transferred by a transfer device 7 onto the measuring part 4 of a Pos. 2 by which the unbalance thereof is measured. Then the work 3 is transferred again by the device 7 onto the NC correcting and working part 5 of a Pos. 3, where an angle is indexed and the work is corrected and worked in accordance with the results of the measurement in the part 4. Again the work 3 is transferred by the device 7 to the inspecting part 6 of a Pos. 4, where the residual quantity of unbalance is measured, and whether the work is corrected and worked in the range of the prescribed permissible quantity of unbalance or not is judged. The work 3, the inspection of which is completed, is finally transferred onto the pallet 1 again by the device 7. Thus the work 3 is fed progressively to the Pos. 1-Pos. 4 and is subjected to measurement-correction-inspection, whereby the correction of balance is completed.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain the title mechanism whose structure is simple and inexpensive by calculating a difference value of an output in a scan of each time and obtaining that which is maximum in an absolute value, and also, extracting the maximum one of them as a focusing information value. CONSTITUTION:The title mechanism is provided with a signal processing means 13 for calculating a difference value of an output in a scan of each time, obtaining that which is maximum in an absolute value, and also, extracting the maximum one of them as a focusing information value. That is, when that which is maximum in its absolute value by which a difference value of each electrical image signal obtained by a scan of each time is calculated by the signal processing means 13 is obtained, it can be obtained as information for showing the best focusing degree on a screen in each scan. Subsequently, the maximum one in the maximum difference value in a scan of each time is extracted as a focusing information value by the signal processing means 13, and a focusing position at the time when a scan which has obtained it has been executed becomes a focused position. In such a way, a special optical system and a controller are not required.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the quality of a finished surface, polishing speed and productivity in a brittle material, by providing cams which can adjust a contact distance between a work and a cylindrical rotary body so as to obtain a fixed amount of machining of the work. CONSTITUTION:A rotary cylindrical body 14, uniformly applying an abrasive material, and a driving motor 18, which variably drives the cylindrical body 14 in its direction of rotation through a flat belt 19, are equipped. While cams 28 and 29 enable a work conveyed by a conveying means to be brought in contact with and separated from a surface of the cylindrical body 14 so as to obtain a fixed amount of machining of the work. Next, if a holder of the work is supplied in a position 36a of a conveying guide, the holder of the work is conveyed at a fixed speed in the direction of an arrow head X by a conveying belt 25. Then the work is provided with a fixed relative speed during its polishing further with the drawn circumferential locus of polishing not equal, accordingly the surface roughness is excellently finished, enabling the polishing speed and the productivity to be improved.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the quality of the processed and finished surface of a brittle material by allowing a workpiece to make close contact with a rotary cylindrical surface, to accurately shift in the axial direction of said cylindrical surface with a low speed, and to have the crystal orientation of the processed surface arranged with high precision, in a polishing device for an audio record needle, etc. CONSTITUTION:A polishing agent 15 is applied over the cylindrical surface of a rotary cylindrical body 14 in a state where a workpiece transfer table 23 is disconnected from a transfer table guide 31. Then, the rotating peripheral speed of the rotary cylindrical body 14 is increased to a value suitable for a material to be processed. Successively, the workpiece transfer table 23 is set on the transfer table guide 31, allowed to be in gear with a feed screw 32 already subjected to a rotary motion by means of a feed motor 35 via a feed nut 33 to obtain a very small amount of travelling. The travelling speed is, in case of diamond processing, selected to be about 10-50mm./min since it influences the quality of the processed surface. The workpiece is at this time lifted upward against a tensile spring 30 by holding the center portion of a processing holding rod 21 with a hand, and quietly forced to make contact with the surface of the rotary cylindrical body 14 simultaneously with the start of processing.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-priced masking fixture which can surely grips a comparatively small-sized object to be painted by utilizing spring pressure and can eliminate adhesion of painting mist in a prescribed region.
SOLUTION: This painting masking fixture is for the object to be painted 1 which has an opening 3 at its center and further has side walls 4a, 4b projecting to a rear surface side at both end parts in a longitudinal direction. The painting masking fixture is constituted of an almost rectangular spring plate which has, at one end part, a spring section 20 being in contact with an inner surface of the side wall 4a and has a section being in contact with the side wall 4b at another end part. The spring section 20 has two divisions 21, 22 arranged in a longitudinal direction of the spring plate and the divisions 21, 22 are bent in a mountain shape so that their cross sections constitute two sides of a triangle. The object to be painted is gripped by spring pressure of the spring section 20.
