摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductor for an earphone cable that has high conductivity, has a high bending life even in a soft copper material, and is a soft copper wire, however, that has a crystal structure having a larger crystal grain than that of a copper wire of OFC or the like, and that is excellent in flexibility; and to provide the earphone cable.SOLUTION: The conductor for an earphone cable comprises a soft dilute copper alloy wire that includes: an additive element selected from the group consisting of Ti, Mg, Zr, Nb, Ca, V, Ni, Mn and Cr; and the balance comprising copper, wherein in the soft dilute copper alloy wire, the crystal grain of the surface layer is smaller than that of the internal crystal grain, and the average grain size from the surface layer toward the inside up to the depth of at least 20% of the wire diameter is at most 20 μm.
