    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard film-coated member having excellent wear resistance and adhesiveness, and a tool for molding. SOLUTION: The hard film-coated member comprises a base material consisting of an iron-based alloy containing Cr, a first film layer deposited on the surface of the base material with the film thickness of 1-10 μm, and a second film layer formed on the surface of the first film layer with the film thickness of 2-10 μm. The first film layer comprises Cr 1-a-b M a B b (C c N 1-c ), where M denotes one or more elements selected from W, V, Mo, Nb, Ti and Al, and the inequalities 0≤a≤0.7, 0≤b≤0.15, 0≤c≤0.5, 0.3≤1-a-b are satisfied (wherein a, b and c denote atom ratios, respectively). The second film layer comprises Nb 1-d-e-f Cr d Al e L f (C g N 1-g ), where L denotes one or more elements selected from Si, Y and B, and the inequalities 0.05≤1-d-e-f≤0.5, 0.05≤d≤0.5, 0.4≤e≤0.7, 0≤f≤0.15, and 0≤g≤0.5 are satisfied (wherein d, e, f and g denote atom ratios, respectively).
