    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight aluminum or aluminum alloy-made air tank easily manufactured and having low cost. SOLUTION: A first air tank main body 1 is constituted of a first body part 31a and first end plates 32a, 32b formed on both ends of the first body part 31a. The first body part 31a and the first end plates 32a, 32b are integrally provided by hydraulically bulging an aluminum alloy-made extruded material, and the first end plates 32a, 32b are molded by being drawn by spinning after hydraulic bulging. Connecting nozzles (bosses) 7, 8a, 8b are formed on the center parts of the first end plates 32a, 32b and the side surface of the first body part 31a. The connecting nozzles are provided by projecting work when the first air tank main body 1 is hydraulically bulged.
