摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to easily expand a frame memory size by providing a control part for selecting writing of image data from a video input part, reading to a video output part, reading or writing of the image data in an image plotting part and connecting them with frame memory. SOLUTION: A control unit 15 has a control table in it, and it is registered which connection is selected by a certain frame memory structure unit, to a video input part 11 or a video output part. An image plotting part 16 can always access to the frame memory structure units 1-8. Thus, since each of the frame memory structure units 1-8 can select a connection to the video input circuit 11 or the video output 13, the same frame memory structure units 1-8 can operate as a memory for the input and also a memory for the output. Moreover, if a plural pieces of the frame memory structure units 1-8 are prepared, then they have a same structure, and this makes it easy to expand a size of frame memory.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable pattern recognition with a high recognition rate by recognizing a pattern by its constituent elements and deciding the whole pattern according to whether the position relation among the constituent elements meets specific conditions. SOLUTION: Coordinate information (i) on a proofreading symbol which is inputted to a tablet 1 is sent to a stroke shape recognition part 2. Further, it is compared with standard patterns (j) stored in a stroke dictionary 3 to recognize a stroke shape. A proofread element candidate selection part 4 finds candidates 1 for all pattern proofread elements corresponding to the recognized stroke shape (k) and a geometric condition decision part 5 checks geometric relation among the proofread element candidates to find a single proofreading symbol which meets specific geometric conditions. Then a command code (m) for an editing process corresponding to the obtained proofreading symbol is outputted to a document processor 6 such as a word processor and the editing process is performed.

Then, the image is projected on the transparent sensor plate 2 of the coordinate input device so as to observe the inputted handwritten stroke 6. Thus, the low- priced and easily workable parallax correction plate can be obtained.

Then data of one picture element is supplied to a liquid crystal driver which is put in charge of a divided liquid crystal panel at the same time according to a liquid crystal module signal, so the data is read out of the liquid crystal frame memory 28 and the liquid crystal module is driven. Consequently, the connection is facilitated and the versatility is improved.
