    • PURPOSE:To prevent excess current from being generated and shorten time necessary for change-over action, by setting frequency at the time of starting an inverter, to be the same frequency as that of an AC power source before it is switched to the inverter side. CONSTITUTION:When a commercial power source is switched to inverter operation, then a switch 42 is turned ON from OFF some time later after a switch 41 is turned OFF. In this case, a PWM inverter 10 is not yet operated, and current does not flow to an induction machine 12. Then, on a frequency setting unit 1 to which the output frequency of the PWM inverter 10 is applied, the value of the same frequency as that of the commercial power source is set. The amplitude of the output signal of a magnetic flux amplitude arithmetic circuit 2 is set to be zero, and voltage at the time of starting is started from zero. As a result, excess current is prevented from being generated at the time of starting, and a time required for change-over to the inverter from the commercial power source is shortened.

    • PURPOSE:To suppress a pulsation of a motor torque at a time of changing over secondary resistances together with to device increasing a life of a secondary resistance change over switch by decreasing a current in case of switching a secondary resistance change over switch. CONSTITUTION:A speed instruction is given by a speed establisher 6 then a speed regulator 7 is operated and a secondary resistance change over instruction device 13 makes ''on'' ''off'' switching secondary resistance change over switches MC1-MC4 adequately so as to be a secondary resistance value corresponding with a number of revolution detected by a tacho-detecting-generator 5 so that a real number of revolution becomes to be stable at an established speed. In this case a switching instruction of a secondary resistance change over switch and an operation signal of each secondary switch auxilialy contact are entered into operation detector 12 and through an OR element 14 a signal is transmitted to a primary current decreasing transistor 10 catching an instant when shifting to either open or closed whenever any secondary switch is operated. When this transistor 10 becomes conductive, an instruction to decrease a current is given to a current regulator 8 from a decreased current establisher 11. In this manner a secondary current is decreased at a switch operating time of a secondary resistance change over switch.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce an offset voltage and a ripple voltage included in the output voltage of an insulation type voltage detecting circuit by using single phase bridge circuits of diode as switching elements to make and break primary and secondary circuits of an insulating transformer. CONSTITUTION:Diode switches 13, 14, 16 and 17 provided in the primary and the secondary circuits repeat on and off operation alternately by a square wave AC signal supplied from an oscillation circuit 9. So, if the voltage to be detected is inputted to input terminals 2, the voltage is alternately impressed to an upper side winding and a lower side winding from the center tap of the primary winding, and accordingly the core of the insulating transformer 5 is energized by a magnetomotive force alternately produced in positive and negative direction. Since the voltage induced in the secondary winding on the insulating transformer 5 is synchronously rectified by the diode switches in the secondary circuit which are repeating on and off operation alternately, the voltage proportional to the input voltage and also insulated from the input circuit can be picked up from the output terminals 8.
