    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motion control device for a vehicle for suppressing control interference between steering characteristic control and stabilization control.
      SOLUTION: Stabilizer control, damping force control, etc., are performed as steering characteristic control, and steering characteristics of the vehicle are changed deliberately from initial steering characteristics, according to the traveling state of the vehicle. In the stabilization control, when an oversteer state quantity Jos (understeer state quantity Jus) exceeds a threshold Tho (Thu), the steering characteristics are made to approximate the initial steering characteristics, by using yaw moment generated through adjustment of braking torque. When the steering characteristics are adjusted to an oversteer side (understeer side) through the steering characteristic control, the threshold Tho (Thu) is set to be large, so that the stabilization control is less likely to be readily started. A situation (control interference) is suppressed where the tendency to deliberately adjust the steering characteristics by the steering characteristics control is suppressed by the intervention of the stabilization control.
