SOLUTION: In order to accelerate a jet engine exhaust flow, a negative pressure generating part 20, for aiming that a negative pressure generated according to acceleration of the jet exhaust flow can be utilized, is set up just behind an acceleration part 10 comprising a wall surface decreasing a flow sectional area toward the downstream, a negative pressure communication part 30, communicating with the upstream of the acceleration part 10 by a front part opening 31 and communicating with the negative pressure generating part 20 by a rear part opening 32, is provided in the outside of the acceleration part 10, and the jet exhaust flow, passing through the acceleration part 10 and the negative pressure generating part 20, is released to the atmosphere from an exhaust cylinder 40 in the downstream of these parts.

    • PURPOSE:To purify exhaust by accelerating, in an acceleration part, a flow of exhaust gas for realizing its smooth emission to the atmosphere while sucking, by a negative pressure generated by the acceleration, the outside air to make it collide and mix with the flow of the exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION:An internal combustion engine generates a flow of exhaust gas, when it is introduced from an exhaust route to a holed silencing pipe 14 of a silencer 32, the flow of exhaust gas next reaches the first acceleration part 20 in an acceleration suction part 4, passing through the first throttle pipe 17 accelerating the flow changed into a flow exceeding the sound speed in a spot in the vicinity of a throat. Accordingly, a remarkable negative pressure is generated in the first expansion chamber 19 of high speed air stream, and an almost similar high speed and high degree of negative pressure are maintained in also the second expansion chamber 23. Thus the outside air flowing in from an air intake port 5 to the first and second expansion chambers 19, 20 is sucked at a high speed through the first and second flow divider pipes 81, 82, second suction chambers 27, 28 and respective suction ports 29, 39, the outside air, and after it is mixed with the exhaust gas, it is emitted to the atmosphere.

    • PURPOSE:To enable the minimization of toxic substances by bringing an air flow by a negative pressure into collision with a combustion gas flow accelerated by a nozzle at a high speed. CONSTITUTION:A muffler 7 is provided with a nozzle 2 to accelerate the flow rate of a combustion gas flow in the accelerating parts 11, 13, 15. The outer side of the nozzle 2 is sealed with a cover 3 to form a suction chamber 4. The nozzle 2 is communicated with the suction chamber 4 by suction ports 12, 14, 16, and an air intake 5 is formed on the cover 3. Hence, a negative pressure is generated by the combustion gas flow accelerated by the nozzle 2, and the air is sucked from the air intake 5 to bring the air flow into collision with the combustion gas through the suction ports 12, 14, 16 at a high speed. At a result, the toxic components such as Co, HC, and NOX in the combustion gas can be remarkably reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the cooling effect for an engine part, etc., by installing a negative pressure generation part at a proper position in an exhaust system and connecting the exhaust port of a reverse silencer installed in a passage for discharging the air stream having the temperature lower than that of the exhaust gas generated in an engine auxiliary, etc., to a negative pressure generation part. CONSTITUTION:As for a muffler 5 installed midway in an exhaust pipe 4 extending from the exhaust port of an engine, the first and second accelerating parts 11 and 12 whose sectional area is reduced are arranged in series, and a negative pressure generation part 6 is formed on the downstream side of the second accelerating part 12. An inner cylinder 13, middle cylinder 14, and an outer cylinder 15 are installed concentrically into an exhaust flow passage 10 formed between the both accelerating parts 11 and 12, and a number of exhaust holes are formed on the inner cylinder 13. Further, a connection part 17 opened into the negative pressure generation part 6 is formed, and a conduit 9 which communicates to an engine auxiliary, e.g., oil cooler is connected with the connection part 17 through a reverse silencer 7 and a check valve 8. A suction air stream is generated in the oil cooler by utilizing the negative pressure generated in the negative pressure generation part 6, and then the oil is cooled.
