      SOLUTION: This control device for the internal combustion engine is provided with the supercharger with the motor, a bypass passage bypassing the supercharger, an open close means opening and closing the bypass passage, a control means controlling the motor and the open close means, an actual supercharging pressure detection means detecting actual supercharging pressure, and a target supercharging pressure calculation means calculating target supercharging pressure. The control means shuts off the bypass passage with the open close means irrespective of a drive state of the motor if the actual supercharging pressure detected by the actual supercharging pressure detection means is in a predetermined range including high pressure side vicinity of target supercharging pressure calculated by the target supercharging pressure calculation means.
