摘要： PURPOSE:To achieve an optimum maneuverability even if a vehicle is under a travel condition where the engine drive force is near zero by providing a drive force control means to control a generated drive force from a drive source so that a shortage of a detected drive force can be compensated, when it is judged that the detected drive force is short of a reference drive force based on a required yaw moment. CONSTITUTION:A drive force distribution control means (e) to control the distribution of a drive force into wheels (c) and (d) which produces a drive source (b) so that a yaw moment set by a yaw moment set means (a) required by a vehicle can be obtained. Also a drive force judgment means (h) to judge whether or not a detected drive force from a drive force detecting means (f) which detects a generated drive force of the drive source (b) meets the reference drive force from a reference drive force setting means (g). Then, a drive force control means (i) which controls, when it is judged by the drive force judgment means (h) that the detected drive force is short, the generated drive force of the drive source (b) so that the shortage can be compensated. Thus, even if a vehicle is under a travel condition where the engine drive force is near zero, on optimum maneuverability can be achieved.

Then the first and second transmission capacity variable type couplings 7 and 8 are positioned adjacent to each other to form an integral coupling, and the differential mechanism 4, speed increasing and decreasing mechanism 6, and integral coupling are arranged on the same axis.

摘要： PURPOSE:To facilitate assembling of a differential case and a front gear case by bringing a bearing for supporting the opposite side to a drive pinion of the differential case into contact with a portion of the front gear case fitted in a front axle case through an axial positioning collar and a circumferential positioning cylinder. CONSTITUTION:An outer part of a bearing 4 is brought into contact with the inside of a front gear case 2 through an engagement state adjusting shim 46 and a portion of a circumferential positioning cylinder 12, whereby the slip-off of a differential case in the direction of the bearing is regulated. On the other hand, a differential ring gear 10 integrally fixed to the differential case 3 by a bolt 11 is engaged with the side of a drive pinion 14, whereby the slip-off preventing device of the differential case 3 of the bearing 5 side is positioned. The engagement state of the differential ring gear 10 and the drive pinion 14 is controlled by changing the number of engagement state control shims 46 interposed between the circumferential positioning cylinder 12 and the axial positioning collar 6.

Power is transmitted to the rear wheels through idle gears 51 with two stage speed reduction gears 46 and 47, a transfer device 25 and a propeller shaft 30. The idle gears 51 are arranged adjacent to the left side of the differentials 20. By this constitution, uniform motion couplings 17c and 17d can be arranged on the center side of a car body.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the durability of a differential means to change over the actuation of a clutch in a rotation transmitting device to transmit and cut off torque through a mechanical clutch. CONSTITUTION:A roller 20 is assembled between the cylindrical face 15 of an outer ring 11 and the cam face 17 of an inside member 12, and a differential means 28 is connected with the retainer 18 of the roller 20. In the differential means 28, two rolling bearings 29, 30 severally having a pitch circle being different in diameter are arranged in a longitudinal line, and only one retainer is used in common as a retainer 38 for the rolling bodies of the bearings 29, 30. In this construction, when the inside member 12 rotates, the rotation of the inner ring of the bearing 30 is delayed on account of a difference in the diameters of the pitch circles of the bearings 29, 30 and the revolution of each rolling body, and the difference in the rotation of the inner rings makes the retainer 18 relatively rotate to the inside member 12 for moving the roller 20 to an engaging position.
