    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of abnormal sound by minimizing the entry of foreign matter between a wheel hub of a rear wheel and a gear cover, in a motorcycle having a V-belt type continuously variable transmission stored in a transmission case, and the gear cover forming a gear chamber for storing a speed reduction gear mechanism interposed between the continuously variable transmission and the rear wheel between the transmission case and the gear cover and connected to a rear part of the transmission case from the rear wheel side.
      SOLUTION: The wheel hub 42 of the rear wheel has an inner tube portion 42a through which an axle 40 of the rear wheel is inserted and an outer tube portion 42b coaxially surrounding the inner cylinder portion 42a by forming an annular recessed part opened to the gear cover 29 side between the inner tube portion 42a and the outer tube portion 42b and is arranged to be close to the gear cover 29. A protector 83 covering an upper part of the gear cover 29 and mounted on at least either of the transmission case 26 or the gear cover 29 is integrally provided with an extended portion 83p extending to the wheel hub 42 side to be close to the outer tube portion 42b.

The inner cylinder 31 and the outer cylinder 32 have guide faces S1, S2 of the guide channels 36, 37 for guiding the outer cylinder 32 so as to move in the axial direction through the ball 33. A dust cover 150 for covering outer parts in the radial direction of the guide faces S1, S2 irrespective of a position of the driving sprocket 39 in the axial direction is provided in the outer cylinder 32.
