    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable noise of exhaust gas to be reduced under utilization of an existing device configuration and to reduce cost increment.SOLUTION: A thermoelectric generator 17 includes: a plurality of thermoelectric conversion modules in which a high temperature part is oppositely faced against an exhaust gas pipe into which exhaust gas discharged out of an internal combustion engine is fed, a low temperature part oppositely faces against cooling medium and then a thermoelectric generating operation is carried out in response to a temperature difference between the high temperature part and the low temperature part. The thermoelectric generator 17 is attached to an exhaust gas pipe 4 in such a way that it may be positioned at a location SB where acoustic pressure generated by the exhaust gas is high and a plurality of thermoelectric conversion modules are connected in such a way that they may form a current path for generating a magnetic field H reducing the acoustic pressure.
