摘要：【課題】従来のシュラウド付回転翼は、小口径かつ垂直位置で使う際には問題がなくても、大口径かつ水平位置で使用すると、ローターブレードのたわみやゆがみ、あるいは遠心力や熱での伸張による圧迫等で、回転部分の回動を困難にした。また、たわみやゆがみ等の伸縮を電気機械的装置で適正に保とうとすると、構造が複雑となり重量が増加した。
【解決手段】本発明は、回転ダクトの外周部には永久磁石を配設し、内周部には、概ね２．５ｍごとに回転支持部を有するローターブレードを接続し、シュラウドと回転ダクトとは互いに上下方向で常時接触し、回転ダクトやローターブレード等の伸縮は、シュラウド内周部と回転ダクト外周部との水平方向の間隔を適切に保持した構成により、大口径で水平位置で使用しても、ターンテーブルに取り付けて急速な方向変換を与えても、常に安定して回転でき、揚力や推力を発生可能な回転ダクト方式シュラウド付回転翼を実現した。
