    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tip turbine drive fan which can reduce an external force generated when it receives a strong wind in the lateral direction with respect to the thrust direction.
      SOLUTION: At the time of operation, the high-pressure air 8 passing through an inlet 6 passes through a stationary blade 4 in a duct 15. Then the stream of the high-pressure air 8 is put in order, and is supplied to a tip turbine blade 3 which performs rotary drive of the upper fan 2 and the lower fan 14 in the same direction by the supply of the high-pressure air 8 from the exhaust side 17 to the intake side 16. Because of this, since the distance H from the rotation surface 12 of the upper fan 2 to the end of the intake side 16 of a fan casing 1 can be shortened, the area in which a negative pressure is generated at the time of receiving of side winds 9 is made small. Thus, the external force 11 generated by the negative pressure can be reduced.
