    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give a good accelerating feel to a driver on his acceleration request by properly setting an acceleration target rotating speed when the driver makes the acceleration request. SOLUTION: When an accelerator operation determining means 88 determines the acceleration request and a target rotating speed setting means 96 sets an acceleration target rotating speed NINLINE, an accelerator pedalling correction value NIN(pap, spd) is set to be added to an acceleration determining initial target rotating speed value NINLINE0 so that it is greater as an accelerator opening pap is larger and it is smaller as a vehicle speed spd is higher. Thus, when the driver has the acceleration request, the acceleration target rotating speed NINLINE can be properly set. Particularly, even in a high speed region where the acceleration determining initial target rotating speed value NINLINE0 is set higher than in a low speed region, a good accelerating feel can be given to the driver on his acceleration request.
