    • PURPOSE:To make a tape run stably by a simple constitution without requiring dimension control nor adjustment by supporting an almost tapered rotating member on a rotatable arm to which a turn energizing force is given in one direction on a board, and conrolling tension in the width direction of the tape. CONSTITUTION:A fixed guide 6a for controlling the upper and lower positions of a tape 3, and a turnable arm 18 are pivoted on a shaft 17 on a board, a shaft 19 is erected vertically to the board, on the arm 18, an impedance roller 7 having some inertial mass is pivoted so as to be freely rotatable, also a spring is extended between the arm 18 and the board, and the arm 18 is energized to turn in one direction, by which the impedance roller 7 is brought into contact with the tape 3 at the time of recording and reproducing, and a longitudinal vibration which is harmful to the performance is relieved. The tape 3 is brought nearer the lower side where a circumferential speed of the impedance roller 7 is high, a force going along the lead part of a cylinder is generated, and the tape runs stably.

    • PURPOSE:To adoid a shift of the head position and to eliminate a change of the head height, by securing a free movement of a control head stage at the inside and outside of a locus of a tape guide. CONSTITUTION:The displacements of links 3-9 which control a control head placing plate 10 turning in one body with a head 11 are transmitted successively with revolutions of a cam arm 2 as well as a shaft 2a. An elastic matter 12 produces the internal energizing force between the stage 10 and the link 9 in a set stop mode. Thus the position control of the plate 10 is energized in a single direction by an elastic matter 15, and the plate 10 turns toward an arrow C'. In a temporary stop mode, a reproduction mode, etc. the plate 10 turns toward an arrow C after a tape guide 13 is slided to a prescribed position. Then the plate 10 touches a tape-shaped nut 16 which is attached with a free vertical movement to a shaft 1d on a chassis 1. Thus the position is controlled for the plate 10.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent poor economical efficiency such as flowing a current to a heater at all times, by providing a current controller receiving a signal from a temperature difference detector and controlling a current to the heater, in a magnetic recorder and reproducer. CONSTITUTION:An electromotive force at a temperature difference DELTAt around a critical point of a frosting phenomenon is denated as V', namely it is very possible for frosting with a potential difference over V'. This potential difference V' is taken as a threshold value of a Schmitt trigger circuit 2, a switching circuit 3 is closed when the potential is higher, a current in proportion to the potential difference V flows to the said heater 5 with a current controlling section 4 to increase the temperature of a cylinder 6 for required sufficient value. Thus, power is applied to the heater 5 only when the temperature difference reaches DELTAt possible for frosting phenomenon. The power application to the heater is performed selectively only when the temperature difference between the inside and outside reaches the temperature difference being in danger of frosting.
