    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency ejection device which unloads an optical disc rapidly when a slot-in optical disc drive is in an abnormal operation state.SOLUTION: In an emergency ejection device 24 for a slot-in optical disc drive, when a thin stick 47 is inserted into an ejection hole 23 to rotate an ejection plate 41 for emergency ejection, a guide pin 54 slides along a guide slot 50 to rotate a release bar 42 such that a clutch gear 33 at the other end of the release bar 42 departs from a self-locking power unit 30. Then the ejection plate 41 moves a rack 48 to rotate a ratchet unit 40 in a predetermined direction for driving a transmission gear unit 31 to unload a disc.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk conveying mechanism capable of suitably conveying a disk with simple structure using a small number of components, and a disk drive device capable of suitably fixing and supporting a drive unit by using the disk conveying mechanism when conveying the disk.SOLUTION: A disk drive device comprises; a feeding roller 31 which is provided between a drive unit built into the device body and an insertion slot opening on the device body; a roller supporting member 33 for rotatably supporting the feeding roller 31 between a disk conveyance position and retreat position; a drive cam 6 for making the feeding roller 31 rotate and move between the disk conveyance position and retreat position; and a driven cam 7 which is associated with the rotating movement of the feeding roller 31. The drive cam 6 travels in a straight line along with one edge of the drive unit in engagement with a rotating shaft 31a of the feeding roller 31 and the driven cam 7 travels in a straight line along with the other edge of the drive unit.
