Though a cover 3a passes of the stopping member 32 and posts 5 and 7 when the cover 3a is raised by a cover raising lever 14 while the cassette is transported horizontally, the cover 3a is not raised and is stopped by the stopping member 32 to prevented the cassette 3 from colliding against posts 5 and 7 if relative positions of the cassette 3 and a cassette holder 30 are shifted. Thus, the damage of the tape 10 resulting from deformation and the damage of loading posts 5 and 7 is prevented.

CONSTITUTION:A cassette 3 is pushed toward the arrow S1 while pushing upward a door 8 supported by a door shaft 5d and the cassette 3 is loaded to a cassette holder 4. A loading motor 2 is rotated forward by pushing the cassette 3 to the arrow S2, the cassette 3 is moved horizontally at first to a prescribed cassette correct loading position automatically by the cassette holder 4 and then moved vertically. When the cassette 3 reaches the cassette correct loading position, the rotation of the loading motor 2 is stopped. The recording/reproduction or the like of video and sound are performed at the cassette correct loading motor 2 is reversed by depressing an ejecting button, the cassette 3 is moved vertically and the cassette is moved horizontally until the cassette ejecting position.

CONSTITUTION:A synchronizing member 15 is assembled at first to a support frame 4 as the major assembling procedure. In this case, the fitting is conducted by having only to push it in the direction of the arrow shown in Fig. (to modified bearing hole 4a). Then a right side plate 2 and a left side plate 3 are assemled from the side while clipping a cassette holder 12 inbetween. Taking the work into consideration, a notch 2a larger than the outer diameter of a small gear 5 is provided to the right side plate 2 and a notched part larger than the outer diameter of th small gear 5 is provided similarly to the left side plate, then the assembling is conducted easily. Then the ceiling plate is assembled from the upper direction.

The up-down movement of the block 17 is decided by the upper surface 21f of the catcher 21 and the upper surface 17c of a V-projection at the tip of a guide roller base 17d. Furthermore the positioning of the block 17 within an XY plane is decided by a contact between a U-shaped groove 21e of the catcher 21 and the shaft 17d as well as a contact between a projected part 17e of the shaft 17d and an inner surface 21d of the arm 21b.
