摘要： The present invention relates, inter alia, to a process for enriching a hydrocarbon fuel for use in an internal combustion engine, the process comprising: (i) contacting a hydrocarbon fuel with a gas stream containing hydrogen gas such that at least some of the hydrogen gas is introduced into the hydrocarbon fuel to produce an enriched hydrocarbon fuel; and optionally (ii) delivering the enriched hydrocarbon fuel to an internal combustion engine. The present invention further provides a device for use in the process.

SOLUTION: In the engine system mounted with the reforming device for reforming a fuel on an exhaust pipe, the engine system with the reforming device includes a regulating valve for regulating an exhaust gas flow rate at a downstream side from a reforming device outlet port of the exhaust pipe. In the engine system with the reforming device, as it is possible to trap part of the exhaust gas between the reforming device and an engine compartment by closing the regulating valve during an exhaust stroke, the reforming efficiency of the reforming device can be enhanced.
