    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine calculating a proper injection quantity command value in a sudden change state of a cylinder oxygen quantity, by taking into consideration a factor except for the air excessive ratio such as the ignition timing, an injection quantity and the injection timing of pilot injection. SOLUTION: An ignition delay period is calculated in respective lean combustion and rich combustion (S30), and the respective combustion are standardized by the ignition timing (S40), and are further standardized by the injection quantity and the injection timing in the pilot injection (S50). A present ignition delay period is calculated by primary interpolation of the ignition delay period in the respective lean combustion and rich combustion after standardization (S60). The present ignition delay period is further corrected by the ignition timing (S70), and is further corrected by the injection quantity and the injection timing in the pilot injection (S80).
