    • A valve arrangement (10; 20; 30) is disclosed that is operable to switch between a bistable valve behavior and a relay valve behavior to control a parking brake. The valve arrangement includes a housing (100) with a supply pressure inlet (102), a service brake control inlet (104) to provide a control pressure, a pressure outlet (106), and an exhaust port (108). The valve arrangement further includes a first piston (110) and a second piston (120) both movable along a same direction in the housing (100) to define a first chamber (210) communicating with the service brake control inlet (104), a second chamber (220) between the first piston (110) and the second piston (120), and third chamber (230) communicating with the pressure outlet (106) and with a controllable connection (235) to the supply pressure inlet (102), wherein upon the control pressure the second piston (120) is configured to move together with the first piston (110) to connect the pressure outlet (106) with the exhaust port (108) or with the supply pressure inlet (102). The valve arrangement includes finally a throttle unit (300) adapted depending on the control pressure to connect the second chamber (220) with the third chamber (230) to enable the bistable valve behavior or to disconnect the second chamber (220) from the third chamber (230) to enable the relay valve behavior.

    • The device (1) for controlling the braking of vehicles, comprises: a pumping device (2) comprising a body (3) wherein at least a seat (4) is formed having a supply port (5), connectable to a work fluid storage tank (S), and at least a first port (6) communicating with a first line (7) connectable to the braking system (F) of a vehicle, where inside the seat (4) is slidably housed a piston (8) adapted to define at least a first chamber (4a) communicating with the first port (6) and which is movable between an idle position, wherein the supply port (5) is communicating with the first chamber (4a), and at least a first braking position, wherein the supply port (5) is isolated from the first chamber (4a); first valve means (11) located along the first line (7) to allow the flow of the work fluid towards the braking system (F) of the vehicle as a result of the achievement of a predefined pressure difference at its extremities; at least a second line (12) for braking directly communicating with the first chamber (4a) and connectable to a user point (V); where the seat (4) has a by-pass port (14) communicating by means of a by-pass line (15) with the first line (7) for braking, downstream of the first valve means (11), being provided a control element (16) connected to the piston (8) and adapted to put the by-pass port (14) in communication with the first chamber (4a) in the idle position, and to isolate the by-pass port (14) from the first chamber (4a) in the first braking position.

    • Die Druckluftbremseinrichtung für Kraftfahrzeugzüge weist in einer sich von einem Anhängersteuerventil l zu einem Anhängerbremsventil 7 erstreckenden Anhängerbremsleitung 8,9 einen EP-Wandler lO auf, welcher nur während Bremsungen von einem Sensor 22 angesteuert wird, der die an der mechanischen Kupplungsvorrichtung auftretenden Kräfte mißt. Während Bremsungen ändert bei Auftreten von Kupplungskräften der EP-Wandler lO den Druck in den zum Anhängerbremsventil 7 führenden Abschnitt 9 der Anhängerbremsleitung 8,9 derart, daß die Anhängerbremswirkung sich an die Bremswirkung des Zugfahrzeuges so anpaßt, daß an der Kupplungsvorrichtung nur eine bestimmte, vorgegebene und eine optimale Bremsabstimmung signalisierende Kupplungskraft auftritt.
