    • A bicycle gear shift control system (10) capable of avoiding frequent gear shifting includes: a power module (11); a microcomputer (21) electrically connected to the power module (11) for allowing a cyclist to switch between the automatic gear shifting mode and a manual gear shifting mode; a gear shifting driver (31) electrically connected to the microcomputer (21), substantially connected to a derailleur (91), and instructed by the microcomputer (21) to drive the derailleur (91) to perform gear shift control; and a manual shifting controller (41) electrically connected to the microcomputer (21). The microcomputer (21) has an automatic gear shifting logic whereby the microcomputer (21) determines the timing of automatic gear shifting and performs gear shifting. The microcomputer (21) further has a gear shifting delay logic that involves delaying for a delay time interval from commencement of gear shifting according to a gear shifting criterion and ruling out all other gear shifting commands during the delay time interval.

    • Disclosed is a motor control method for an electric-powered vehicle (1), which is designed to switch an output characteristic of an electric motor (5) for rotatably driving a driving wheel (16) of the vehicle (1), between a low-speed mode adaptable to a relatively low rotation speed operation region and a high-speed mode adaptable to a relatively high rotation speed operation region, on the basis of a given switching rotation speed (Nt) as a threshold. The motor control method comprises a vehicle-turning information acquisition step (S1, S2) of acquiring information about a turning movement of the vehicle (1), a vehicle-turning determination step (S5, S9, S14, S18) of determining whether the vehicle (1) is in a non-straight-ahead traveling state, based on the information acquired in the vchicle-turning information acquisition step, and a shift step (S6, S10, S15, S19) of, if the determination in the vehicle-turning determination step is made that the vehicle is in the non-straight-ahead traveling state, shifting the switching rotation speed (Nt) to a value different from that in a straight-ahead traveling state of the vehicle. The motor control method of the present invention can prevent a behavior of the vehicle (1) from becoming unstable when the output characteristic of the electric motor (5) for rotatably driving the driving wheel (16) is switched between the low-speed mode and the high-speed mode.

    • An input shaft (12) is provided with a plurality of drive gears (21-26), an output shaft (14) is provided with a plurality of driven gears (31-36) respectively engaging with the drive gears, and transmission gear trains are formed by the respective engaged gears.
