    • The present invention relates to a ventilated brake rotor (1) rotationally associated with a vehicle element to be braked, wherein said ventilated rotor (1) has a rotation axis (A), wherein said ventilated rotor (1) defines an axial direction (A-A), parallel to, or coinciding with, the rotation axis (A), a radial direction (R-R) and a circumferential direction (T-T), wherein said radial direction (R-R) is perpendicular to said axial direction (A- A) and wherein said circumferential direction (T-T) is perpendicular to both said axial direction (A-A) and said radial direction (R-R), wherein said ventilated rotor (1) comprises a cup-shaped body (2), wherein said cup-shaped body (2) comprises at least one ventilation opening (10), wherein said at least one ventilation opening (10) passes through the cup-shaped body thickness so as to allow a cooling fluid to pass for cooling said ventilated brake rotor (1), wherein said cup-shaped body (2) comprises at least one front annular portion (3), a side portion (5), wherein said front annular portion (3) is configured to connect the ventilated brake rotor (1) to said rotating element, wherein said side portion (5) extends from the front annular portion (3) at least in an axial direction (A-A); characterized in that it comprises a protective element (6) configured to shield said at least one opening (10) thus preventing foreign bodies from entering into said cup-shaped body (2), while allowing the cooling fluid to cross said at least one opening (10).

    • A brake disc (1; 10; 100) for a braking system (9), in particular for a vehicle braking system, has a first friction surface (12) and a second friction surface (13), which are on opposite sides of the brake disc (1; 10; 100) and axially spaced from each other. The brake disc (1; 10; 100) comprises a first annular body (2) and a second annular body (3): the first friction surface (12) is on a first face (21) of the first annular body (2) and the second friction surface (13) is on a first face (31) of the second annular body (3). Each of the annular bodies (2, 3) also has a second face (22, 32) which is opposite the first face (21, 31) and faces the second face (22, 32) of the other annular body (3, 2). The first annular body (2) and the second annular body (3) are assembled together or are assembled on opposite faces (51, 52) of a central body (5) which is interposed between them. The coupling between the annular bodies (2, 3) or between at least one annular body (2, 3) and the central body (5) is a form-fit coupling by mechanical interference, thanks to a coupling with mechanical interference between the projecting teeth (41) and corresponding seats (45).
