    • A method of fastening a lock cylinder body in a generally flat element comprises the steps of providing in the element (20) an opening (22) which is defined by at least first and second mutually convergent edges (24a, 24b), and providing in the body (10) first and second grooves (14a, 14b) that are intended for co-action with said edges. The body is then inserted into the opening (22) to a position in which the grooves are level with said edges, whereafter the body is moved in a direction parallel with the plane of the element into an engagement position in which the edges are in engagement with the grooves, therewith to lock the body in an axial direction in this engagement position. Finally, a tongue (26) integral with the flat element is bent to a position in which the tongue lies essentially in the plane of said flat element, so as to lock the body (10) against movement in directions parallel with the plane of the element (20) in said engagement position. The lock cylinder body is fastened simply and reliably by means of this method.

    • A lock assembly for attachment to an enclosure door. In preferred embodiments, the enclosure door has a lock assembly receiving opening specifically created to receive the lock assembly. The lock assembly includes a lock case assembly having a bolt that can be moved between at least two positions; a lock actuating assembly interconnected with the lock case assembly such that the lock actuating assembly can actuate a change in the position of the bolt from one position to another; and a mounting plate having an interior side and an exterior side. The lock actuating assembly is preferably secured to the mounting plate on the exterior side and the lock case assembly is preferably secured to the mounting plate on the interior side. The lock assembly itself can be secured within the lock assembly receiving opening of the enclosure door by an interior mounting plate securing bracket, preferably two such brackets, which are secured to the interior side of the mounting plate and effectively grip an edge or preferably two edges of the enclosure door proximate the lock receiving opening so that the lock assembly can be secured to the enclosure door. In alternate embodiments, the present invention provides a mounting plate, an enclosure door including a lock assembly and a method of securing a lock assembly to an enclosure door.

    • A lock assembly for attachment to an enclosure door. In preferred embodiments, the enclosure door has a lock assembly receiving opening specifically created to receive the lock assembly. The lock assembly includes a lock case assembly having a bolt that can be moved between at least two positions; a lock actuating assembly interconnected with the lock case assembly such that the lock actuating assembly can actuate a change in the position of the bolt from one position to another; and a mounting plate having an interior side and an exterior side.     • A locking device comprising a lock latch (5) which is movable between a first protruded lock position and a second withdrawn position. The locking device comprises an arm (7) which having one end thereof through a first hinge (8) attached to a wall (6) supporting the lock latch (5) and the other end thereof attached to the rear end of the lock latch (5) through a second hinge (9), and a flange (10) connected with said wall (6) through a third hinge (11) and attached to a portion of the lock latch (5) at a distance from said third hinge (11) through a fourth hinge (12) at a distance in front of said second hinge (9), said lock latch (5) having a front part (15) protruding from the flange (10).
