    • A cable seal lock assembly (10) including a housing (20) having a top end (30) and a bottom end (32) with at least two openings (38, 40 and 42, 44) in each end (30, 32). A generally cylindrical-shaped cable sleeve (22) is located in the housing (20) and has a bore (58) therethrough, and ends (54, 56) of the bore (58) are aligned with respective openings (40, 44) in the top (30) and bottom (32) ends of the housing (20).     • A tubular latch is provided which includes a case, a bolt, a hub rotatably mounted within the latch case to receive a door handle shaft, a cam integral to an outer surface of the hub and having a driving surface wherein rotational movement of the hub causes the driving surface to rotate with the hub, and a slider member movable, by the cam, from a first axial position in the latch case wherein the slider member is in an extended position to a second axial position wherein the slider member is in an extended position to a second axial position wherein the slider member is in a retracted position. The latch further includes a latch spring adjuster plate moveable axially within the latch case that is adjustable and securable to a desired axial position within the latch case, and a slider member spring for biasing the slider member away from the latch spring adjuster plate.

    • A vehicle lock assembly including a cylinder lock (24) and a mounting bracket (26) which is adapted to mount the cylinder lock (26) on a vehicle structure associated with a deck lid of a vehicle. The mounting bracket (26) includes a mounting lug (76) adapted to be fastened to the vehicle structure and mounting arms (82, 83) which support the cylinder lock (24) rearwardly of the exterior panel. The lock mounting arms define mounting surfaces which cooperate with indexing portions (37, 39) on the lock housing to substantially prevent rotation of the cylinder lock (24) relative to the mounting bracket (26) and the deck lid. In one embodiment, the lock housing is mounted on the mounting bracket (26) in dovetail fashion to prevent the mounting arms (82, 83) from spreading apart if an attempt is made to forcibly rotate the cylinder lock (24).
