摘要： A sensor assembly for generating a request to exit (REX) signal for a door lockset operable with a latch operator and a controller that can signal an alarm. In one embodiment, the sensor assembly includes a mounting member adapted to be in a fixed position in the door lockset, a rotatable member adapted to rotate in response to rotation of the latch operator, and a sensor mounted to the mounting member. The sensor is spaced from the rotatable member and is configured to detect rotation of the rotatable member. When the rotatable member is rotated corresponding to rotation of the latch operator, the sensor detects the rotation, and a switch in the sensor, which may be magnetic, is actuated, closing a circuit to send a REX signal to the controller. The sensor assembly may be associated with a chassis of the door lockset.

The exterior lock assembly 12 includes a pair of threaded fasteners 22 extending through a preformed hole in a door, and the interior lock assembly 14 includes a rose liner 36 configured to rotatably engage the fasteners 22 to connect the interior and exterior lock assemblies. The interior lock assembly rose liner 36 includes a pair of raised contoured portions 50 having openings 56 for receiving the fasteners 22 and ramps 54 for guiding the fasteners to the openings 56. In addition, the interior lock assembly 14 includes a knob insert 32 and a turnpiece guide 34. The knob insert 32 is disposed in the knob and the turnpiece guide 34 is removably disposed in the knob insert 32. A turnpiece 24 is disposed in the turnpiece guide 34 and is thereby aligned with an operating member 18 extending from a lock cylinder 108 in the exterior lock assembly 12. As the interior lock assembly 14 is connected to the exterior lock assembly 12, the turnpiece guide 34 is pushed out of the knob insert 32, thereby freeing the turnpiece 24 for co-rotation with the lock cylinder-operating member 18.
