摘要： Disclosed is a reflection cap comprising coupling members, into which conventional fluorescent lamps are firmly inserted to improve the intensity of the illumination of light emitted by the fluorescent lamps, and of which the scope of application can be widened. For this purpose, the reflection cap of the present invention comprises: a front sheet which diffuses light emitted by the fluorescent lamps, and which has one or more coupling members protruding from either end thereof; and a back sheet attached to the front sheet to accommodate a fluorescent lamp therebetween. The reflection cap having coupling members according to the present invention can be coupled to conventional fluorescent lamps in an easier and more convenient manner, and thus can be used as a lamp shade or a bag for waste fluorescent lamps or the like, to thereby widen the scope of application thereof. The reflection cap of the present invention prevents light from leaking from either end thereof, to thereby improve the intensity of the illumination of the light emitted by the fluorescent lamps.

摘要： The invention relates to optical light diffusers for use with point light sources, such as LED lighting. The optical diffusers achieve an optimum balance of light transmission and hiding power. The optical light diffuser is a transparent plastic matrix, such as Plexiglas® resin from Arkema Inc., having organic particles dispersed within the matrix. The particles are crosslinked beads having specific particle sizes and loading. Different beads can be combined to provide added properties such as a textured surface, and to optimize hiding power and light transmission. The invention also relates to a luminous device containing at least one light-emitting diode and a cover made of the optical light diffuser. The invention further relates to a method for assessing hiding power.
