    • The present invention relates to a double stopping device for an automobile tray, the existing locking device of a dual lock rotation type being developed only for the glove box in automobiles and the large volume thereof posing a problem of rendering the locking device inadequate for the automobile tray, and thus the double stopping device for the automobile tray of the present invention comprises: a housing which is fixedly installed on a tray opening/closing lid; a knob which is rotatably installed at the middle of the housing; strikers, each of which is installed on either side of the inside of the housing so as to be horizontally movable, and which move in the direction toward the inside of the housing by means of the rotation of the knob for unlocking the opening/closing lid; striker springs for providing elastic support so that the front end of the strikers protrude to the outside of the opening/closing lid; and a knob spring for elastically supporting the rotational opening/closing of the knob, wherein when the knob rotates the protrusion which is provided at either the knob side or the striker side interacts with an inclined surface on the other side to move the striker toward the inside of the housing, thereby unlocking the tray opening/closing lid. According to the present invention, the lock of the tray opening/closing lid can be easily unlocked by moving the strikers toward the inside of the housing by means of the knob, thereby effectively inducing cost reduction and improvomg the salability of the automobile by applying fewer parts and a simpler structure to the automobile tray.
