Suitably, the adjustment mechanism comprises a slide member comprising a pair of spaced slide elements (12, 14) in a base portion of the seat, each slide element having at least one elongate slot for receipt of a respective seat axle provided on an underside surface of a seat portion of the seat. Preferably, each slide element comprises two elongate slots, defining front and rear slide element slots respectively. Preferably, each elongate slot is generally arcuate.
