    • An aluminum cast/forged product containing 0.2-2.0 wt.% of silicon, 0.35-1.2 wt.% of magnesium, 0.1-0.4 wt.% of copper and 0.01-0.08 wt.% of manganese, wherein the weight ratios of alloy elements are adjusted by using, as material, wasteful burr produced at forging so as to provide a sufficient strength, prevent the production of wasteful intermetallic compounds, restrict oxidization deterioration and corrosion, and further increase strength by a forging effect, while improving fluidity and castability. A method of producing an aluminum cast/forged product comprising a metal melting process, a casting process, and a rough forging/finish forging/trimming process, wherein production processes are simpler with higher yield and productivity. As an aluminum thick-wall worked product high in tensile strength, yield strength and elongation, and improved in mechanical properties over conventional cast/forged products, this aluminum cast/forged product is excellent in corrosion-resistance, high in quality without defects, and low in cost.
