    • A method for manufacturing an unpolished profile rail for use in a linear motion guide according to the present invention comprises: a decarburization layer removal step of removing a decarburization layer from the surface of a rod-shaped base formed by a hot rolling process; an intermediate drawing step of obtaining an intermediate form, by performing lubricating, cold drawing, and stress-removing annealing processes 1 to 4 times on the base to enable the base passed through the decarburization layer removal step to have a shape similar to that of a final rail for the guide; a surface treatment step of performing a blasting treatment on the surface of the intermediate form; a lubricating step of applying a lubricant to the surface of the base passed through the surface treatment step; a final drawing step of drawing the base passed through the lubricating step by controlling the area reduction of the base to be 1% to 13%; a hardening heat treatment step of performing a surface hardening heat treatment instead of polishing the surface of the rail passed through the final drawing step; and a finishing step of punching holes for mounting parts to the rail passed through the hardening heat treatment step.
