    • An automatic opening and closing device (10) for a container (12) comprises a closure flap (30) within the container and a pivot arm (40) with a weighted portion (44). When the container (12) is in a first position, the centre of mass of the weighted portion (44) is offset horizontally and vertically from the pivot point of the pivot arm (40) and acts to bias the closure flap (30) to close an opening in the container (12). When the container (12) is rotated in a first direction to a second position, the weighted portion (44) causes the pivot arm (40) and closure flap (30) to rotate relative to the container in a second direction opposite to the first direction, to bias the closure flap away from the opening. In the first position, the weighted portion (44) is offset vertically by a greater distance than it is offset horizontally. A locking mechanism may also be provided, which is operable to the user to keep the container closed even when tilted.

    • A MOC operator structure for a vacuum circuit breaker includes a cam coupled to an operating shaft of the circuit breaker, a follower in engagement with the cam, a first lever coupled with the follower, free-floating spring structure associated with the first lever, a second lever, a linkage structure coupled with the second lever and constructed and arranged to be associated with a breaker-panel interface for moving auxiliary switches, and movable cable structure operatively coupled between the first and second levers. The first lever and spring structure are configured such that when the contacts are closed, movement of the cam via the operating shaft drives the first lever to a maximum position compressing the spring structure, prior to any movement of the cable structure, and wherein force of the spring structure moves the cable structure and thus the second lever, causing movement of the linkage structure.

    • Handling electronic coupons includes accessing information indicating association of an electronic coupon with an account of a user that identifies multiple retail entities associated with the user. Information indicating association of electronic coupons with the user's account may be transmitted to respective computer systems associated with the multiple retail entities. The computer systems may associate electronic coupons with the user such that the user may redeem the electronic coupons at a retail store upon presentation of a user identifier. When the user redeems an electronic coupon, cancellation information for the electronic coupon may be transmitted to the computer systems of other retail entities associated with the user. Receipt of the cancellation information may cause the respective computer systems to cancel the redeemability of the electronic coupon such that the user is prevented from redeeming the electronic coupon at a retail store associated with the corresponding retail entity.
