    • The present invention refers to a protective helmet (100), preferably for use in cycling, motorcycle riding or automobile driving. Such a helmet comprises a cap (1) and a chin strap (2) to secure said cap (1) to the head of a user. The helmet comprises winding means (3) fixed to a first side portion (11) of the cap (1). Such winding means are suitable for winding/unwinding the strap (2) to adjust its length.
