    • A servo system in which the servo control circuit, servo amplifier and servo motor are connected with a single cable. The cable (87) between the servo control circuit (11) and the servo amplifier (2) includes a wire group for command signals from the servo control circuit (11) to the servo amplifier (2), and another wire group for feed back signal from the servo motor. The command signal wire group comprises three PWM signal wires (21 to 23), three ground wires (24 to 26), and one enable signal wire and other signal wires, the number of all of which is halved by use of an inverter in the power control circuit in the servo amplifier (2). The feed back signal wire group transmits the positional feed back signals from the servo motor (6) to the servo control circuit (11) through the servo amplifier (2). In such a way, the signal wire which is not used between the servo control circuit (11) and the servo amplifier (2) is used as a feed back signal wire which transmits the positional feed back signals from the servo motor (6). As a result, three cables which are conventionally needed to connect a single-axis servo motor to a servo control circuit are conveniently reduced to one cable.
