    • Door closing mechanisms with closing springs as energy accumulators and a hydraulically damped closing movement are already known in the art. Said mechanisms comprise a housing (4) mounted on the door wing or door frame whose driven shaft (5) is connected to the door frame or wing by a force-transmitting rod assembly (6-8).
