    • The invention concerns a watercraft having a hull (1) comprising two parallel interconnected floats (3) in the form of longitudinal halves of a surfboard. The bridge between these floats is formed by a central connection web (4) and a further connection web (7) lying at a distance therefrom towards the rear. Disposed in the central connection web (4), along the longitudinal central plane (2), is a rail (14) for securing in a longitudinally displaceable manner a mast (25) for sail rigging (26), such that the hull can be used for windsurfing. The hull can also be used for sailing when the mast is additionally secured by two easily-mounted support struts (30) which extend between the mast and the front tips of the floats (3). A seat (33) can be mounted on each float for at least two sailors, and a rudder (35) can be disposed in the rear connection web (7). Furthermore, a longitudinally movable seat (20) can be disposed on rails (19) arranged parallel to the longitudinal central plane (2), and tholes (22) for oars can be inserted in recesses (23) in each of the floats, such that the hull can also be propelled by rowing. Wheels or skids detachably mounted on the hull also enable it to be driven on land or ice by means of wind power.

    • Described is a device for removing solder from the vicinity of welds by aplications of an underpressure, the device having a handle (1) containing a pump consisting of a cylinder (2) and a piston (3) with a piston rod (4) connected to a spring (6). The pump is designed to generate an underpressure when the initially tensioned spring (6) is allowed to expand by removing a locking pin (9) to release the piston rod (4). Located inside the handle (1) is a chamber (14) designed to collect the solder. The front end of the chamber has a tubular tip (16) made of a heat-resistant, flexible material, preferably silicon, capable of bending to adapt itself to any surface irregularities so that air is excluded while the device is being used, even when the device is held at an angle, thus optimizing the suction action. The chamber (14) has an unobstructed cross-section from the tubular tip (16) back to the rear wall, and the pump (2, 3) is connected to the chamber (14) by a line (13) which opens out on one side of the chamber (14), near the front end, so that the solder which collects at the back of the chamber (14) does not obstruct the line. The device can therefore be used for long periods without the need for frequent interruptions to clean it.
