    • An electronic parking brake for a vehicle comprising a calliper body that supports at least one inboard piston and at least one opposing outboard piston, inboard and outboard brake pads respectively associated with the at least one inboard and outboard piston, spaced apart so as to define a gap within which can be located a brake rotor so that the inboard pad faces ones side of the rotor and the opposed outboard pad faces the other side of the rotor, and an actuator which is connected to the at least one inboard piston through a first drive train and to the at least one outboard piston through a second drive train such that operation of the actuator causes movement of the drive trains and in turn movement of the pistons relative to the calliper body, the second drive train including a limiter means that limits the maximum force that can be transmitted from the actuator to the outboard piston.
