In particular, but not exclusively, this invention relates to a sports training aid for assisting a user to mentally prepare for a sporting activity. The invention also has a utility as a skills training aid for assisting a user to prepare for a wide range of other, non-sporting activities, including in the musical and educational fields. One sports training aid (10) that is disclosed comprises a structure (12) having a plurality of cells (14) in which a user of the training aid can stand. Each cell includes at least one zone (16) configured to receive and retain an information panel (17, 18, 20) for conveying training information to the user of the training aid standing inside the cell. The plurality of cells can be coupled together to form a structure of desired shape, appearance and/or dimensions.

摘要： Method, modules and a system formed by connecting the modules for controlling payloads. An activation signal is propagated in the system from one module to the modules connected to it. Upon receiving an activation signal, the module (after a pre-set or random delay) activates a payload associated with it, and transmits the activation signal (after another pre-set or random delay) to one or more modules connected to it. The system is initiated by a master module including a user activated switch producing the activation signal. The activation signal can be propagated in the system in one direction from the master to the last module, or carried bi-directionally allowing two way propagation, using a module which revert the direction of the activation signal propagation direction. A module may be individually powered by an internal power source such as a battery, or connected to an external power source such as AC power.

The system of the invention includes a neurological stimulation (NS) modality that delivers neurological stimulation to a first brain region and a cognitive training (CT) that delivers CT to a second brain region,, where activation of the CT modality occurs at a predetermined time relative to the activation period of the NS modality. In one embodiment, the NS and CT are interlaced. The first and second brain regions may be the same brain regions or different brain regions.
