摘要： The present ball kicking training aid has a substantially rectangular prism-like shape, with at least one kicking face with a kicking instructional graphic that provides guidance to the practicing player on where to kick and how to kick a ball, such as a soccer ball, an American football, or similar. Because it is proper foot planting is important, at least one non-kicking face is provided to the side of the kicking face with a foot plant instructional graphic for the non- kicking foot. The players can practice multiple kicks in quick succession without the ball kicking training aid moving a substantial distance, so that the player can increase kicking skills in a short timeframe.

An attachment area may be formed on an outer perimeter of the plate component that is provided with a reduced thickness relative to adjacent areas of the plate component. An attachment element may be passed through the attachment area and at least one layer of the cushioning component thereby attaching the plate component to at least the one layer.

The device also includes a brake assembly that receives the direction pointer during the training kick to bring the ball holder assembly and the ball to a complete stop.

摘要： A sports training apparatus intended for soccer training comprises a pitch area (12) bounded by side walls (22) and end walls (14) having goal structures (16) set there against. Reflective optical sensors (20) in vertical columns detect passage of a ball between columns and hence allow calculation of ball speed. Video cameras (24, 26) are provided around the pitch area ad allow recordings to be made and shown. One or more pressure mats (30) and goal area rear mats (19) and sub mats allow detection of player presence and position of ball impact. One or other of satellite positioning or video image analysis is used to keep track of the positions of individual players and video analysis is used to keep track of the ball.
