摘要： The present invention provides a computerised administration system for administering the conduct of examinations such as academic examinations. The system comprises central computer processing means (10) for processing and storing data, a plurality of local computer processing means (32) physically remote from the central computer processing means (10) for use by examination candidates, and a communications network (20) connecting the central computer processing means (10) to each of the local computer processing means (32) to facilitate data transfer therebetween. Each local computer processing means (32) has sampling means (34) for taking identification samples from an examination candidate. During the examination, each examination candidate is presented with examination questions which he/she answers by inputting the answers into one of the plurality of local computer processing means (32) and the sampling means (34) of each local computer processing means (32) takes identification samples from each candidate at random intervals. The local computer processing means (32) sends the identification samples from each candidate to the central computer processing means (10) via the communications network (20) together with the examination answers of the said candidate. The present inventio also relates to a method of administering the conduct of examinations such as academic examinations and to a program and an information storage medium for storing the program.

摘要： A computerized learning system implements an electronic learning environment over a communications network. A client system can access an interactive presentation from a server. A delivery system can be used to deliver the interactive presentation from the interactive presentation from the server viewable by a user for a smooth presentation. The delivery system can include a pre-loading engine that delivers the interactive presentation to the client system based on a priority scheme. The priority scheme can be determnined based on the types of media objects in the interactive presentation. The interactive presentation can be built in XML based on header tags or tables or a HTML document. The header tags and the tables can define a layout of page assets time-coding data for displaying the page assets, and an interactive exercise associated with the page. The interactive presentation can include a progress bar and a table of contents. The table of contents can dynamically synchronizes its assets when a user navigates through the interactive presentation. The interactive presentation can enable a user to navigate through the entire interactive presentation using only one key stroke interaction.

摘要： An item generation interface may generate knowledge assessment items directed a subject area based on a set of model items collectively directed to the subject area. The item generation interface may group the set of model assessment items into a plurality of similar item groups using numeric features corresponding to the model assessment items. Similar item groups may include model assessment items covering conceptually similar concepts within the subject area. A conditioning input may be generated for each of the item groups based on the numeric features corresponding to the model assessment items in the item group. Responsive to providing the conditioning inputs to a transformer-based natural language generation model, the item generation interface may receive raw assessment items from the transformer-based natural language generation model. Knowledge assessment items may be identified from the raw assessment items.
