The air towers are bifurcated in the sense that the air columns are fan-less and coil-less, and fans for delivering pressurized air to the air columns, and hence to the underfloor plenum of the UFAD system, are in overhead ceiling air ducts and spaced away from the air columns. Cooling coils could be located in a remote air handling unit that feeds conditioned air to the overhead ceiling air ducts to be pressurized by the fans.

摘要： A heating control device includes an estimating unit to estimate a latent heat load of air present in a ventilation target space as a ventilation target and a heating control unit to control, in accordance with the latent heat load estimated by the estimating unit, a temperature of heating outside air by a heat exchanger to heat outside air supplied to the ventilation target space, via control of a condensation temperature of a refrigerant in the heat exchanger. The estimating unit estimates the latent heat load from ΔX, which is a value obtained by subtracting, from a target absolute humidity (X0) set by a temperature/humidity setting device to set a target humidity of an interior as the ventilation target space, an absolute humidity (Xi) of the interior detected by an indoor humidity sensor.

摘要： A bottom-mounted whole house fan assembly includes an intake plenum mounted over an opening in a ceiling of a building. The intake plenum is supported on the ceiling in the attic of the building. One end of a flexible duct is connected to the intake plenum and the other end of the duct is connected to a fan so that the fan draws air in the building through the intake plenum and duct and exhausts the air in the attic from whence the air is vented to atmosphere. The fan is supported by at least one vertical strut that is connected to the ceiling at the lower end of the strut and to a housing of the fan at the upper end of the strut. A sound dampener is interposed between the strut and the fan housing and/or the ceiling beam to which the strut is attached.

摘要： Listed are some of this invention's unique features for producing a healthier home and a safer clothes dryer vent within the same housing system, which may be installed within a typical wall system or as a free-standing unit in a laundry room.
Included are two airflow receiving ports that accepts airflow from a clothes dryer or optionally from a house's interior rooms and two airflow exhaust ports that discharge the same airflow into an exhaust pipe to the outside or optionally into the building interior as recycled airflow.
A drainage device removes water derived from condensate which forms in the exhaust pipe and otherwise flows back into the housing.
Two (2) receiving ports and the two (2) exiting ports combine to provide four (4) combinations of airflow management.
The choice of which of the four (4) airflow ports are activated for airflow passage is subject to a selection from a control system which contains switches for the desired airflow management thru the housing.
Additionally, the control system contains monitors and sensors to indicate unsafe temperatures, air pressure changes or filter blockage within the housing.
A shutdown mechanism within the control system stops the airflow exhaust fan and stops the clothes dryer to provide an additional measure of safety.
Included in the invention is a multi-filter filtration system that includes filters that block lint particulate from a clothes dryer and block indoor pollutants comprising pre-filters, True HEPA filters, with activated carbon filters and air cleaners to meet EPA Indoor Air Quality Standards and MERV Ratings.
A multi-speed airflow exhaust fan moves airflow in thru the receiving ports, thru the multi-filters and out thru the exiting ports. Additionally, within the housing, access openings with removable windows provide internal inspections and accessibility.
In conclusion the elements of this invention combine to improve the efficiency and safety of a clothes dryer's exhaust system and improve the indoor air quality of a home or commercial building.

Vacuum mechanisms can be positioned above the hanging impermeable barriers and below the rising impermeable barriers to create airstreams along the impermeable barriers that guide airborne particulate matter blocked by an impermeable barrier into a vacuum mechanism.
