摘要： The present disclosure belongs to the technical field of clean and efficient mining of deep unconventional or conventional resources, and discloses a pilot-scale supercritical water oxidation oil and hydrogen production system capable of realizing multi-stage heating of organic rock. The system comprises a supercritical water generator, a supercritical water pyrolysis reaction system for organic rock, an oxygen injection system and an oil-gas condensation and collection system, wherein the supercritical water generator mainly comprises a water injection system, a front-section preheating system, a second-stage heating system and a third-stage heating system. The reaction system can carry out a pilot-scale simulation process of supercritical water pyrolysis for organic rock, a multi-stage heating function is realized, the maximum reaction distance is 8 m or more, and the release characteristics of oil-gas products under different reaction distances are explained.

The methods utilize a production well that comprises a plurality of fluid-inlet components are spaced apart to define a plurality of production-well fluid-inlet zones. The methods comprise injecting an injection fluid comprising a solvent into the reservoir, such that a drainage fluid comprising a liquid phase and a gas phase occupies one or more of the production-well fluid-inflow zones. The method further comprises producing a production fluid at a production-flow rate via a pump, and modulating the gas phase:liquid phase ratio of the production fluid by orchestrating variations in the pump speed and one or more of the plurality of fluid-inlet components to prioritize hydraulic communication with a subset of the plurality of production-well fluid-inlet zones.

摘要： A steam operated flow control device and method is disclosed. In one mode, the flow control device enables steam to be injected into a subterranean formation region containing hydrocarbons. In another mode, the flow control device enables the hydrocarbons to be produced from the subterranean formation to the surface. The flow control device includes a piston disposed between a housing and a mandrel having aligned ports, which slides between a first position where one set of ports align with the ports in the housing and the mandrel and a second position where another set of smaller ports align with the ports in the housing and mandrel. The piston is operated by a bellows having a chamber which contains a fluid. The fluid responds to temperature and/or pressure variations.

摘要： The invention relates to methods for extracting a kerogen-based product from subsurface (oil) shale formations. These methods rely on chemically modifying the shale-bound kerogen using a chemical oxidant so as to render it mobile. The oxidant is provided to a formation fluid in contact with the kerogen in the subsurface shale. A mobile kerogen-based product which includes the organic acids is withdrawn from the subsurface shale formation and processed to isolate the organic acids contained therein. In one embodiment, the mobile kerogen-based product is treated such that at least a portion of the organic acids form a separate phase from the mobile kerogen-based product to isolate the acids. The organic acids may further be extracted from the mobile kerogen-based product using an organic extraction fluid.

In one embodiment, the method includes the step of heating the organic-rich rock formation in situ. Optionally, this heating step may be performed prior to any substantial removal of water-soluble minerals from the organic-rich rock formation. In accordance with the method, the heating of the organic-rich rock formation both pyrolyzes at least a portion of the formation hydrocarbons, for example kerogen, to create hydrocarbon fluids, and converts at least a portion of the water-soluble minerals, for example, converts nahcolite to soda ash. Thereafter, the hydrocarbon fluids are produced from the formation.
