摘要： A jump shuttle conveyor system is configured to receive formed food patties from a molding assembly of a patty forming machine. The system includes a lifting plate and belt assembly coupled to a frame which are configured to be indexed to different vertical positions relative to the frame. Formed food patties are received on a belt of the belt assembly thereon, and can be moved off of the belt onto a transfer shuttle conveyor system. An output conveyor system can be provided to receive the formed food patties.

The conveyor further includes a drive assembly for moving at least the first belt and causing the container to move over the first and second belts when placed on the first and second support surfaces. Methods for making the conveyor and operating the conveyor are also defined herein.

摘要： A conveyor assembly is provided for accumulating and discharging a column of evenly spaced items. The conveyor assembly includes a receiving conveyor, a discharge conveyor and a belt guiding carriage. The receiving and discharge conveyors each include a plurality of round belts that are interlaced with the receiving belts being at a slightly higher elevation on the receiving end of the system and the discharge belts being at a slightly higher elevation on the discharge end. Both sets of belts pass through a movable carriage that guides the receiving belts from the upper elevation to the lower elevation and the discharge belts from the lower elevation to the upper elevation so that the receiving belts are at a higher elevation on the receiving end of the carriage and the discharge belts are at a higher elevation on the discharge end of the carriage.

In one embodiment, the conveyor comprises a plurality of individually controlled conveyor zones. Each conveyor zone includes a first belt, a second belt, a drive assembly for rotating the first belt and the second belt at substantially the same speed. The first belt and the second belt are driven at substantially the same speed and movably support the container's bottom plate as the container moves along the conveyor. In another embodiment, the conveyor includes sensors to determine, among other things, the position of the container.
