    • A conveyor system for conveying a product comprises a first conveyor adjacent to a second conveyor via a junction, the conveying direction of the first conveyor near the junction is different from the conveying direction of the second conveyor near the junction. The first conveyor has a first conveying surface and the second conveyor has a second conveying surface for supporting the product thereon. The first conveyor describes at least a spiral path near the junction wherein a central axis extends at least substantially in vertical direction. A moving assembly is configured to move the product from the first conveyor to the second conveyor. The moving assembly comprises a push-out guide which makes a stroke for each product that passes, or comprises a guide configured such that products are guided automatically along the guide only upon the movement of the conveying surface of the first conveyor.

    • A conveyor system for carrying a conveyor belt. The conveyor system includes a first module having a frame and an elevator assembly including shuttles positioned on opposite sides of the belt and movable relative to the frame between a first position, in which the upper surface is positioned to move product along the belt, and a second position, in which the upper surface is spaced a distance from the belt in a direction substantially normal to the travel direction to remove product from the belt. The conveyor system also includes a second module for supporting the belt and transporting product from an upstream end of the second module to a downstream end of the second module and a third module having a drive assembly for driving the belt across the first, second, and third modules.

    • A sanitary conveyor system is disclosed in which a conveyor bed, with or without curves, is mounted on a frame for movement of food trays between a plurality of work stations or movement of soiled trays from the cafeteria to the ware-washing area. A central box channel is mounted remote from the work stations and is provided juxtaposed to and below the pair of conveyor beds. The conveyor system includes a first set of pulleys being disposed adjacent to the tail end of the conveyor beds which are horizontally aligned and angled upwardly from the box channel to the conveyor beds such that each belt in the lower return flight path of the box channel are moved upwardly to the corresponding upper flight path of the conveyor bed. A second set of pulleys is disposed adjacent to the drive end of the conveyor bed and operatively connected to a belt drive unit such that belts are moved from the upper flight path of the conveyor bed to the lower return flight path of the box channel. Accordingly, in the lower return flight path, the belts are constrained within the box channel during their lower return flight path remote from the work stations.
