摘要： A mode stirrer apparatus that enables a more effective heating pattern in the food that is to be cooked. Two mode stirrers located in opposite walls of the oven. Each mode stirrer is independently driven by a small gear motor that causes the mode stirrer to rotate in only one direction. The result of this mounting configuration is that the mode stirrers rotate in a counter-rotating fashion in relation to the food being cooked. The mode stirrer in this invention has a combination of radiating slots (which behave like a rod shaped dipole antenna) and large areas of angled/displaced metal.

摘要： A mixing attachment for stirring sauces, foods, mixtures or the like in a microwave oven. The mixing attachment includes a vertical mixing arm, a stationary blade attached to the bottom of the arm, and a cross beam, which is fastened to the top of the vertical mixing arm. The cross beam is secured to the walls within the microwave oven. One way to implement the mixer is to extend the arm downward into a cooking dish. The cooking dish contains food and rests on a turntable. When cooking food, the turntable rotates causing the food to be mixed by the stationary blade. In addition, the blade may be made to move up and down by the rotating turntable through a series of cams and a drive wheel.

摘要： A heating apparatus for microwave ovens, electric ovens, gas ovens and ovens of the hybrid type, includes a digital control unit and a numerical display unit. The heating apparatus further includes numerical value input means (an impulse generator) including a digit change-over switch and increment/decrement switch as means for entering a numerical value such as a heating time or a heating temperature into the digital control unit. The digit change-over switch always directs one of the hours, minutes and seconds, and the increment/decrement switch is designed so that the switch which is usually held off is closed only when the knob is moved or when the knob is depressed, for example, and the switch is returned to the original off position upon releasing the hand, thus reducing the number of setting keys, lessening the possibility of erroneous setting and simplifying the setting of heating time and heating temperature.

摘要： Directed jets of temperature controlled gaseous fluids are applied to irregularly shaped products, such as food portions, to subject discrete areas of the surface to a very high heat transfer rate and to cause these areas to be passed over surfaces of the product at a proper rate to obtain over-all surface effects such as crisping, browning, searing or freezing.The cooking apparatus comprises a generator adapted to supply microwave energy for heating the interior of a food product in combination with apparatus to direct spaced discrete high velocity jets of heated air to impinge against exterior surfaces of the food product. A conveyor is employed to provide relative motion between each of the sources of heat and the product for averaging cooking through the product by reducing effect of RF standing waves and simultaneously sweeping the jets of air over the product at proper rate to heat all exposed surfaces.
