    • A load isolating device may be defined by a plate-style bracket having a planar body and a plurality of tabs arranged about the body. Each tab may define a peripheral extremity of the body, extending outwardly thereof and situated substantially within the same plane as the body. Each tab may have a particular width, and may include a neck defined by a fillet having a predetermined radius, both tab width and fillet radius being sized and configured to absorb load forces through elastic deformation. As such, the tabs may elastically deform under load to minimize any deformation of the planar body of the device, which in the disclosed embodiment may be formed of an elastic metal plate. Each tab may have the same thickness as the planar body, and both the tabs and the planar body of the device may comprise the same material.

    • A pre-engagement unit for a braking pressure modulator for a pressure regulating circuit of an electronic braking system includes a first pneumatic inlet through which a supply pressure is supplied to the pre-engagement unit, a second pneumatic inlet through which a redundancy pressure is supplied to the pre-engagement unit, a first pneumatic output terminal through which the pre-engagement unit is connected to an air quantity augmenting relay valve, a second pneumatic output terminal through which the pre-engagement unit is connected to a pressure sink, and an electrically actuated valve system. The electrically actuated valve system has three substantially identical 2/2-way solenoid valves. Each of the 2/2-way solenoid valves includes first and second pneumatic terminals, and an electric terminal which is connected to an electronic control unit of the electronic braking system for selective actuation of the 2/2-way solenoid valves. The first and second terminals of the 2/2-way solenoid valves are selectively connected to the pneumatic inlets and output terminals of the pre-engagement unit and to each other so that the first 2/2-way valves serves as an air admission valve for supply pressure to the pressure regulating circuit, the second 2/2-way solenoid valve serves as an air admission/exhaust valve for redundancy pressure to the pressure regulating circuit, and the third 2/2-way solenoid valve serves as an exhaust valve for the pressure regulating circuit. Thereby, the pressure in the pressure regulating circuit can be increased, decreased, or maintained. Desirably, the first, second, and third 2/2-way solenoid valves are connected in parallel to each other.

    • A control device for pressurized fluids includes a valve mechanism that is actuated by a first electric device incorporating a pair of electromagnets disposed in a first housing component, and a second electric device incorporating a printed circuit board for controlling the valve mechanism disposed in a second housing component. For electrical connection of the two electric devices, male connector pins are provided on the first electric device and female connector sockets are provided on the second electric device. The male and female components automatically form a plug-type connection when the two housing components are joined together. Each female connector socket is received in a first portion of a through-hole provided in a mount supported on the circuit board such that it extends into, and preferably beyond, a corresponding through-hole in the circuit board. A second portion of each through-hole in each mount is provided with a funnel-shaped section opening toward the male connector pins which functions as an entry guide for such pins. A pressure sensor may be disposed in the second housing component such that it forms a plug-type engagement with a port extending from the valve mechanism when the first and second housing components are joined together. The pressure sensor is supported by the circuit board in the second housing component. Electrical contact elements extend from the pressure sensor into, and preferably beyond, holes in the printed circuit board.
